If you REALLY want to igmaxx (for personal usage):
1. Make your Instagram handle close to your actual name (will be easier to search you up)
2. Post good photos and good stories (matters a lot, you can use filters to make yourself look better but Don't overuse them)
3. Have less followings than followers (don't make the ratio huge, will make you look like an attention seeking loser),
4. Don't post a lot, but don't post nothing at all
5. follow the people you know, friends, acquaintances
6. Don't post sum bullshit on your page

If you want to grow your Instagram as a professional usage the "rules" are close, but you will most likely post much more. You can also try to promote the page on TikTok (if you have an account) and other social medias (if you post something on the social medias) or buy likes, followers or just buy promotions there's a lot of things you can do in general

be confident and don't do sum bs

Edit: also don't put sum bs as your pfp if you really want to grow in following, you can always put a character from a famous show or a cartoon or a movie on but the best would be your face (with a filter if you think that you're not good looking enough. What i used to do in the old days to grow my account was following big accounts like around 120 of them and wait. Some people will eventually follow you lol.

some people just follow everyone that they get suggested, and everyone follows famous people so you will most likely gain around 30-50 followers in a week or two (that's how it worked for me. might not work no more)

If not just buy the followers lol they're not that expensive although you might get banned
