Why should you measure your face?
When you look at someone who is ugly, most people can see and understand that the person is ugly however they cannot pinpoint specific facial features that make them ugly. Your average normie could not look at a ltn and tell you the exact features that are recessed and below average that are hindering their appearance. For example, your average person could see that these people
are not good looking but it is difficult to pinpoint the exact features that bring their rating down.
Also it is better to give yourself objective information about your proportions than go in some TikTok comment section saying “do I have potential?” Or posting a private rating here and all you’ll get is “sub 5” “go r0pe” “it’s over”
TL;DR
It is in your own best interests to measure your own face to see how you are recessed because even if you know that you look below-average/ need improvement if you don’t know what specific features need improvement then it is hard to know what to improve
How to measure your face?
First of all, it is useful to know what the ideal proportions are and what you should specifically measure and for that I recommend looking at this
thread.
There is also no point in frauding if you want to know know how people actually see you and to see yourself.
Take a front facing,neutral expression natural light, the same for your side profile.
To measure your face, you need an application that can measure both angles and lines
For that I recommend these two apps. (First for lines, second for angles)
For example if I wanted to calculate the
mouth to nose ratio: using photos measure
(measured by dividing the width of the mouth by the width of the nose.)
First,
Press tool button (spatula) turn on auto length draw a line of the width of mouth, draw another line of width of nose then plug into calculator
width of mouth/width of nose
For reference his mouth to nose ratio is 88.62/57.24=1.548 approx and the ideal is 1.5-1.62 (measurements are innacurate I rushed)
For the other app angle meter 360, it gives you a tutorial(self-explanatory)
How can I utilise this to looksmax?
Knowing flaws means you can identify areas you need to work on.
Is this the best way to measure your face?
Ais, face scanners and other people can have innaccuries the best person to trust is yourself.
If you want to priotise accuracy over speed and save yourself some money then this is the best way. Imagemeter is also good I don’t personally use it tho
