How to minimise a Pilonidal Cyst?

Its not as bad on the pain scale as people say but sometimes it just bleeds and my boxers save the incoming blood stain on my pants.
Any way to minimise it/make it not bleed?

Keep the area shaved since ingrown hairs fuel the cyst, wash daily, and keep it dry.

Nothing apart from surgery will permanately get rid of it

Just microwave a bowl of water and wet a towel then keep putting it on for 15 mins. If it’s not better in 3 days just go to the urgent care and get it lanced it won’t hurt that bad just make sure they don’t pack the wound bc that’s what hurts.

It’s not gonna get better on its own so if it’s still like that almost a month later u need to just go get it lanced today and get it over wirh
