Both technically work but you're just not gonna develop a diehard fanbase that connects with you through your music
You need to be unreachable and clearly make it seem like you're above everyone else, you need to be idolized, if yk Dom Corleo he tried that and it didn't turn out well for him, started doing Twitch streams literally talking with the fanbase it sounds good on paper but he subconciously made himself at the same playing field as his viewers if that makes sense, all the mystery gone, all the hype gone, kinda made his music substanceless
I still fw his music but I def noticed the change, a lot of his songs are really good but understreamed
His music is more like 70% music and 30% image
Carti on the other hand, people look at him like a higher form of life lmfao, they go crazy over any sighting of him, hes rare, thats the ideal way to be a good artist
