Was pinning my test today in the morning and as I was pushing the oil into my leg I j thought to myself why I was doing all this to myself so I was hella depressed. But after like 2 hrs the test made me happy again rofl

Nothing, there was a recent storm that must have knocked off the tile into the drain. I did think it was someone attempting to drill something into my ceiling. Do not worry about it, it was nothing and I rarely get stressed over things like this.

i have the luxury of living in a decent city and being very close to one of the best universities in my country. i could’ve gone to a slightly better university, but my parents couldn’t help, and minimum wage wouldn’t cover living expenses.

i plan to go to grad school anyway, so i can’t stress too much about work since i’ll need good grades

anyways, i’m gonna shower and sleep now. it’s getting late and i have classes tomorrow. have a good day man

Haha no. There's a reason I'm using older known vulnerable versions of software in an isolated labs to understand the core principles. In the real world with modern systems it is monumentally harder.

In theory it’s totally possible to hack real software Old vulnerabilities never really die they just hide on forgotten servers. Hackers scan the internet looking for machines still running those outdated versions then use ready made tools to break in. It happens every day, even in 2025 because some companies never update their systems. This is why we Devs keep screaming at the top of our lungs to update your software regularly. The niggas that don't update make our lives 10 times harder than it should be.
