Even if hypergamy is natural, so is polygamy. most dudes claim they want one women and are able to maintain one women, even tho they naturally desire to have sex with multiple women(its a fact idc if u disagree u dont wanna creampie the same one girl). But we are able to resist our nature and adjust to modern society. so you as a man if you find a loyal women one in a copeillion you would be able to not cheat on her and resist the urge to fuck other girls. If we use this logic that would mean that women would also be able to supress their hypergamious nature. i personally belief the more iq a women has the less she cares about height but i couldnt find any studies on that yet.
