I respect atheists, but i don't get it

You cannot explain that big bang happened by itself, energy does not come out of nowhere. You cannot explain that humans were originally monkeys, why did the other monkeys didn't evolve, the laws of evolution works just on certain monkeys? It just doesn't make sense
This evolution comment is just retarded, no humans were not "monkeys" we evolved from a species that were similar to monkeys and evolved because of adopting full bipedal-ism as opposed to the other species, this happened due to a climate shift in which the original environment we had grew far more sparse with far less trees which heavily encouraged our ancestors to stop walking on 4 legs and to start walking on two legs more, which freed up our hands which then lead to us using these hands for tools, carrying and holding babies instead which then naturally selected for bigger brains/more intelligence as the more smarter ones would make tools which prolonged survival and the likeliness of breeding, the reason modern day monkeys didn't make this shift is because they never had to deal with these sparse flat lands and the disappearance of their trees, and since swinging in trees is very favorable for them they didn't have the evolutionary need to select for better inteligence or whatever

1) If you believe in branching actualism, all metaphysical possibilities share an initial segment with the actual world. So it's trivially metaphysically impossible for nothing to exist. This is independent motivated because it seems plausible things that could happen are all grounded in the causal powers of things that exist. It wouldn't make sense to say somethings possible, but there's no actual power that could actualize it.

2) There are more ways at least something could exist than everything could not exist. For everything to exist or everything to not exist, you need every existential proposition to be true, or you need every existential to be false (existential propositions are just claims that something exists). So statistically you're more likely to land somewhere in the middle where not everything that could exist exists, and not everything that couldn't exist doesn't exist.

I forgot the third or I combined 2 for 2)

I mean just think about it this way: what has the power to make it so that nothing ever existed?

And for 2, think about the things that could exist and the things that couldn't exist. Wouldn't you expect a sort of mix, where some things don't exist and some things do exist. Instead of everything existing, or everything not existing?

Where did I say there is anything WRONG with Islam?

Classic, going on the offence to make others feel uncomfortable about criticising a POV ..

I just fundamentally don't understand how you can worship a God and be invested in an ideology that you have no proof of, but will on the other hand say you don't "get" atheism ??

It's pretty much the exact same principle mate ..
nigga thats not even the point yall cant explain that "humans were originally monkeys" so why didnt the others evolve to are u fucking retarded or something

We really have no proof of a higher cosmic being, but we assume it because its logical. The universe is very vast and how could a big bang create all of this? Words in the Quran from thousands of years ago about science turned out to be true,

I myself am muslim, I was raised muslim, and I try to have good faith. Realistically you can question if there is a God or a higher cosmic being, but if you decide to deny any beliefs of a religion, and it turns out to be true. You are damned to eternal hellfire, better to be safe then sorry.

And if you say "But Aisha was 9" it was from a authentic hadith that was believed to be taken out of context or it was a mistake. Historians have done thorough research on it and it was believed she was 17-19.

But again there is no absolute consensus.

logical? this is the classic “god of the gaps”

scientific miracles in the quran is a weak argument

you’re still using pascal’s wager in 2026

and no she was 9. this is the consensus

If something can’t come from nothing, where did god come from? If you say he’s always been here then why can’t the universe be the same

I'm not insinuating anything pedophillic about your prophet, I think that is quite disrespectful.

I think it's important to distinguish between something being logically possible and something being logically established. Belief in a higher cosmic being can certainly be logical, but that doesn't mean God's existence follows logically from the fact that the universe exists or is incredibly vast and complex.

Saying "we don't know how the universe came to exist, therefore God" is an argument from uncertainty rather than proof.

Also, "better safe than sorry" doesn't work as an argument for religion. If the possibility of eternal punishment is enough reason to believe, then which religion are you supposed to choose?

Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, or one of the thousands of other religions with different claims about what happens after death?

You can't simply assume that one particular religion is the safe option.

the big bang isnt supposed to explain what started the universe, it just explains what caused THE EXPANSION of the universe and how things are the way they are now.
Answering the energy coming from nowhere point, we simply dont know where the energy came from, we dont know if it was created or if it always existed, and thats okay, we dont have answers for everything, maybe someday we are going to find out.

I can, and I’m going to. We didn’t evolve from the monkeys that exist today; humans and other apes share common ancestors. that ancestral population ended up dividing and having different enviroments, we evolved to walk efficiently on two legs because it was advantageous for survival, while chimpazes for example evolved to be very adapted in climbing and moving through trees, mainly because their main food are ripe fruits.
The laws of evolution work for every living organism without a single exception.

Extremely resumed explanations since ik yall are dnr this

litterely yesterday there was a thread calling you the grayfag of the day

Atheists who believe in big bang are stupid its another theory based religion you can not prove agnostic atheists on the other hand are sophisticated
im losing iq reading this. the big theory accepted today is very different from the one created in 1927 by a priest. also we have extremelly accurate proof of the universe expanding, we can litterally detect the light some thousands of years after the big bang happened through cosmic microwave background radiation, the farther you look into the universe the hotter it gets.
etc, etc

i can keep going
