I spent $1000 On A Pro Camera - PSL +2

Most of the users here "talk the talk", but when it comes to actions - nada.
After learning about "face distortion" in photos - I decided to buy a mirrorless
camera, with a 150mm lens. I spent $1000, and will buy a better camera
in the future.

When shooting at 150mm, and more than 3 meters of distance - I finally look
good in photos. This way I can post photos of how I actually look IRL, and not
distorted.

After you looksmax - you must invest in a good camera and lens. And no - don't
say "chad looks good in iphone" - 90% of model photos you post here were shot
using a $2000+ camera.

Smartphone back cameras are usually good enough
Combine it with Adobe Lightroom and you have good enough pics for instagram

IRL people see you in 3D and in motion. In order to capture your face accurately - you need
way more than 22mm.

I have friends and family that can take pics of me. The AUTO mode in most modern cameras
works VERY well. I don't have a "random hobby photographer" in my bag when I travel
or go outside. I can order a photographer any time - but having a good camera myself
is an addition. In order to win the "war" you need multiple tools : access to pro photographers,
a private good DSLR/mirrorless, a smartphone with good camera etc.

In order to look good in photos you need focal lengh + distance from camera.
When you use a good camera with 24MP for example, with good lens - you
can stand far from the camera, and then crop the photo. This can't be done when
using an iPhone...
