Reccesed is worse then flat, and yes since we see 3d all angles matter and a reccesed midface rapes side profile

I don't have an explanation, it's just consistently true. If you've ever had one of those highschool ceremonies where they show the person's face before they walk on stage, its 99 percent of the time a sizeable difference.
