The main explation put forward as to why sugar is pro-aging is due to the formation of AGEs (Advanced Glycation End Products)

But this may actually be down to flawed glucose metabolism instead of some intrinsic property of the physiological reaction to sucrose.

Vitamin B1 enhances glucose metabolism, and shifts oxidation towards glucose instead of fat metabolism.

And sure enough when Vitamin B1(Benfotiamine) was examined in vivo it reduced AGEs by 70 percent.

I think people who dont react well to sugar are in a predominantly fat mobilisation state due to the Randel cycle

They are probably converting the sugar to ethanol due to defective digestive system , vitamin B1 deficiency, and/or bad metabolism of glucose substrates and thats why they report symtomps of being hungover and "addiction" toward sugar, they are most probably experiencing alcohol withdrawals.

I have been eating 40 percent of my diet as pure sucrose/fructose and I only get higher libido, mood and energy and I dont put on weight (although Im not losing weight that quick either- around 1 kg a week).

people react bad to sugar = parasites, people react bad to starches = candida, solve these 2 issues, and u can eat whatever u want with no issues

Anything that raises CO2 levels in the body. Benfotiamine and Acetozalamide(another agent that reduces the carbonic anhydrase enzyme -the enzyme that converts CO2 to bicarbonate) are actually used in some cases for schizophrenia symptoms and they work much much better than anti-dopamine agents such as risperidone. Other things that raise CO2 include aspirin, high altidute living,progesterone,soda drinks and thyroid.

Glucose however, is among the least reactive of sugars. In vitro studies suggest that fructose, compared with glucose, is a much more potent initiator of the Maillard reaction”

I’d mainly agree with the ray peat diet if the fructose was substituted with glucose.

bullshit. glucose does more harm than good,its gi index is very high, fructose studies are done with HFCS which literally contain starch particles are not pure fructose.

Yeah, u can get parasites from anything, if its not properly cooked, that includes meat, vegetables, fish
