Getting progress will make u hooked liked drug. This what I love about bodymaxing. I get so fucking happy when my reps increase from heavy weights.
My best friend tells me the same thing! I wonder if it will be like that for me as well or not.

Gym addicted AF especially when you got not much going in your life elsewhere

I have nothing going on in my life. Except for university. I don't have a job either.

Nice! That sounds good. I’m glad that you like it. It feels good to get a routine going, at least for me. If it wasn’t for going to the gym I would just be laying in bed doing nothing all day.
Haha I've been doing that for the last ten years. Not really a good idea. Yes, the routine is yet to start. The trickiest thing will be to get my protein intake. I managed two days so far, but I need some money to buy these things. Which means I need a job as well.

tried a new energy drink today i got in the store which caught my attention called "RAW energy", some tropical thing i got a orange and mango flavour i tried it it was nice although it's got 23g sugar which i didnt realise when i bought it, but oh well
Jeez, 23g of sugar. That's something I'm definitely avoiding now that I've started going to the gym. I will cut off all candy, cookies, chips and other goyslop. I've already done so in the past few weeks. I might get some sugary drink in the near future though. Like chocolate milk. :AquaFukireta:

You gotta get to lifting weights asap, especially test 1rm on bench and fail.

First time I barely hit 70kg for one now I can do for 20 reps, it's biggest dopamine rush in my life rn. Powerlifting is bad for aesthetics but goated to actually enjoying yourself in a gym

Yea if they are low it's really not good makes shoulders look slopped like mine although mine I hope will improve visually when lose weight

I got overall blessed with insane arm, back(especially lats some of lowest lats inserts ever), legs(72cm quads, 110cm ass without ever training them) genetics, but bad shoulder and chest sadly
I probably have bad everything. :FeelsRainMan: I guess I will find out what I have until I'm what... 6 months in? Basically, when it's gonna be summer I think.

yea i am aswell i dont eat sugar anymore i barely eat anything at all

but i love energy drinks and when i picked it up i didnt check if it had sugar or not, and the can was already open by the time i figured it out :lul:

No that's not because your weak.

It's because your muscles aren't used to strain and are now full of lactic acid which makes them feel sore.

It won’t be too hard bro. Most people calculate their protein intake wrong. if you want 2g/kg of protein, you don’t calculate it straight off your weight. You have to exclude your bodyfat.

I’m assuming you’re high bodyfat so you don’t need as much protein as you’re probably thinking.

Yes, I already did some lifting but nothing extensive, just very easy stuff since it was my first day. I think my friend is going to do it progressively. Why is powerlifting bad for aesthetics? My main goal is to lose weight btw. The muscle building is just an extra for me. Maybe my goal posts will shift the more I keep going. And woah, awesome! Going from 70kg 1x to doing it 20x. Mirin! What's your next goal?

Sugary drinks probably have the same effect as goyslop, so I would try to avoid it as much as possible if I were you!

I am aiming for 1,5x my body weight. It's fairly doable but it would cost me €35/wk. Now that sounds like nothing, but when you have no job, it's hard to cough up €140/mn. I need a job ASAP. But that's interesting to know, I thought it was supposed to be total body weight as opposed to excluding body fat.

Because powerlifting is mostly lower body(deadlifts and squats) and legs don't matter for aesthetics especially for me(naturally giant legs). Aswell as you need weeks to "deload"(not train basically) so you are stronger on 1rm attempt and ton of specific training which doesn't result in much hypertrophy.

My overall next goal is 140 bench and lifetime is like 200kg I guess

I Recommend you watch BP fitness channel to know what to focus on, ton of bluepilled gym bros will make you do exercises which aren't optimal for aesthetics

No, I'm not on roids. My religious beliefs don't allow it. However, my main goal is losing weight (the muscle thing is just a bonus). Who knows though, maybe my goalposts will shift as I keep going to the gym.

Not always. Depends really.

If I go really hard on my days I have it yes or if I had a busy week and couldn't do all my days but your body gets used to some of the strain so the soreness will become less the more that you train.

Just walk outside with headphones on if you wanna lose weight it's more fun and you won't spend money on a gym membership

Yeah you should always base your protein intake on your lean body mass. You should just try eating a lot of cheap protein like eggs, cottage cheese etc. Also you definitely need a job.

I don’t think you’re alone in that. It seems that’s the case for the majority of people. If you wanna get big like The Rock or whatever, you have no option but to roid.

I’ve lost weight before just by dieting, but I’m tired of it. I used to go on long walks too, I’d be out for 1,5-2 hrs a day. But now I wanted to try something different which is working out. :peepoW:

I ate a kilo of quark yesterday. Was almost impossible for me to finish it. I’ll just stick to meat and eggs for protein intake. :HAhaa:

I don’t have a formal split (assuming this means what exercises I do), my friend told me what exercises I should be doing, as well as how many reps.

im not even trying to get like those big ass bodybuilding freaks of nature. I can't even leanmax because of how slow I build muscle while even on a bulk. I'm probably just gonna run a cycle of test and maybe more in the future just for the muscle. its like a subhuman getting surgery just to be seen as a normie and treated like human.
