White teeth is important its the best low cost high reward giving stuff you can do
well to start off my teeth is fucking crooked and a bit yellow i can't get braces rn (no money )
so why not bleach my teeth while watching bleach so
note ; i have tried some of the method i mentioned here and it worked decentish so it might not work as great as you will be thinking for you but it is worth the shot cause they are not that risky + cause my teeth were moderately yellowish it was not that bad to start with and then it only gave me decent result .
so if ya want some thing serious go watch pneumo's thread in botb these are for greys / newbie to bleach teeth
structure of teeth
enamel : naturally white only gets stain .can't change its color
dentin : yellowish naturally or over time cause the hydroxyapatite
can become yellow over time
so tooth gets yellow via two ways
Extrinsic staining : caused on enamel which is caused by
1.food and drinks
-->coffee , tea any fast food with dye etc
2.tobacco
3.poor oral hygiene
my methods will work on extrinsic too
Intrinsic staining: caused on dentin harder to remove than extrinsic ( you can just not eat those stuff ) to remove extrinsic staining intrinsic staining is caused on the hydroxyapatite in dentin over time with age ,fluoride and certain medications
how to fix then i will talk from low to moderate conc ( which i tried ) + takes time
lets understand how hydrogen peroxide works
>just a basic chemistry h202 is acid which is thermodynamically unstable the bond rapidly breaks when it touches tooth surface causing the acid to generate oxygen free radicals/ reactive oxygen species like every acid does which will break the organic bond in tooth aka stains
and this will give a result of demineralization aka losing calcium while it doesn't generally react with it .
The acidic environment caused by h202 combined with the oxidation process can temporarily disrupt the surface layer of the hydroxyapatite crystal lattice which causes it to leach out mineral from enamel
now move on to bleaching ways from 3 to 12 %
anything above requires gingival gum barrier imo
3%+ -->used for pussies doesnot work you just floss with ts
6 %+ --> use on brush you can use this 2 way ( tingles gum a bit ) 3 to 4x a week
1st --> 1 spoon baking soda 1 spoon h202 mix and brush ( no the conc does not dilute )
2nd --> mix it with your tooth paste
works very slowly but is far effective compared to 3 %
9 % + --> 2 ways ( tingles more on the gum ) 2x to 3x a week + use vaseline on gum to remove the tingle
1.2 parts baking soda 1 part h202 make a thick paste apply one by one hold for 2 min
2. same as one 1 but you just use it on brush and brush with it while not touching the gum
12 %
same as 9 % but be more careful
you can also add coconut oil to smooth it out a bit ( haven't tried this too )
note : make sure to make the mouth more wide open use vasliene on lips too once it touched my lips and it burned a bit
you can use
this
dental cheek retractor ig the name is correct with this you can do it effectively
Carbamide peroxide ( haven't tried but i can show you the cocn strength compared to h202)
its a acid so works same as h202 but with lower strength

Hydroxyapatite is a naturally occurring calcium phosphate mineral that forms the main structural building block of human bones and teeth

| Carbamide Peroxide (CP) % | Equivalent Hydrogen Peroxide |
|---|---|
| 10% CP | ~3.5% β 3.6% |
| 16% CP | ~5.6% β 5.7% |
| 22% CP | ~7.5% β 7.7% |
| 35% CP | ~11.7% β 12.0% |
| 44% CP | ~15.0% |
idk the way you can use carbamide peroxide since i haven't tried you can just go with h202
+ you can also buy full dental kit from online tho and use these without taking much risk
or just go to a dentist if it is too much hassle for you
no before and after my teeth is crooked i can't show ts
+ its not that risky worth the shot
if you see good result with in 2 weeks keep on doing if not then go to dentist or do the pneumo's way
one tip : just don't consume coffee or any tea and slop food while doing it you don't wanna get a temporary stain and get demotivated by your progress
+ my process has half completed
