I’m 40 min post op from genioplasty and feelin good. My first legit surgery complete. Slowly but surely becoming human

Swelling not too bad yet and the results look good and natural. Definitely less of a subhuman now. I think I was under twilight not general anesthesia cuz I remember like hearing all the action and thinking it was cool, not fear or pain at all. It was just a daze.

So I was able to walk out of there within 30 min feelin kinda buzzed like I drank a few beers. Overall amazing experience so far but I’m guessing the worst is to come.

It’s day after right now and 60% of the time it’s not bad and then sometimes it’s like annoying af and uncomfortable. But not extremely painful
