I'm going to take some artistic nudes of myself, but I will not share or send them to anyone. They're for my future wife only, after marriage.

Do you think she'll like them?

What do you do in the gym?
Split my 45 minutes into half. One half cardio, the other half weights. I decide on the day what muscles I'll be working on.

It's a home gym.

I'm at that age (25, will be 26 later on in the year) where I might start descending due to my age. I want to hold onto my youthful looks as much as I can, but according to a poll, people think I probably won't lose my "pretty boy" looks until 29-35 or so. I intend to be married next year. I hope this holds true:

So for my wife to cherish me and to never monkey branch or have an affair with someone else...
  • I will take some artistic, tasteful nudes (both erotic and non-erotic) of myself this week, with my good camera, with a tripod, catered to the female gaze (after looking at some examples on the internet and on Pinterest), in the early morning when everyone's asleep, in my bedroom, and in the bathroom. I don't want them to look like cheap selfies. Josh Humble's shots are a good example of what I'm trying to achieve for a few photos, but with my own unique style.
    • In the early morning, my abs are at their leanest and sexiest-looking.
    • In fact... I took some just now while showering, but they were only face shots and back/leg shots, some with soap suds on my body. The lighting was nice.
  • I IPLed all the hair off my body and face except for my pubic hair which I trimmed neatly, and my eyebrows, so I will look extra smooth in the photos. The only hairs on my body right now are the ones on top of my head, my eyebrows, my eyelashes, and my neatly trimmed pubic hair. Nothing else.
  • I will even rub some coconut oil all over my body so it looks very nice in the photos.
  • NOBODY will ever see these nudes, except my future wife (my current halal girlfriend) once we're married. They're for HER eyes only.
    • I will also instruct her not to send them to anyone. They will be password-protected on my hard drive.
  • I will attempt to make the best, most flattering photos editorial quality, like the types you might find on a modelling shoot.
  • I might take some nudes with me wearing a necklace so they highlight my pecs.
  • I might take some strategically covered nudes.
  • They'll take some time for me to retouch so they look like professional photos.
I know my anxious attachment is on steroids, but by doing this, I'm sure she's not gonna monkey branch for someone else, think of others when I'm making love with her, and think about me when I'm not nearby (e.g. if either of us are at work or dropping the kids off). ;)

Just get them professionally done tbh

There should be plenty of nude photographers willing to do individual clients like you and they'll make sure it looks good because of their expertise.

If you're actually trying to make them "artsy" then I recommend going for a classical style reminiscent of art from antiquity.

If you really want to go all in and are worried about your looks degrading over time, you could also try getting a sculpture of yourself if you have the money too since it'll last forever. It's not even that narcy compared to getting a portrait of yourself done tbh.

You can cover your genitals in front of them and have them cropped in later

thank you, why?
because they're the pinnacle of what's considered "artsy", so much so to the point where all other art is compared to it

It combines the best elements of realism and expression into one package that exudes power and beauty simultaneously.

I don't know but I just want to make them feel personal. That sort of style not only feels impersonal but narcy. I don't know JFL.
They will be personal if your face is on it, but just choose your own style if it's not enough then tbh.

Do you think of it as being narcy because of the association with rich artsnobs perhaps?

If so don't, because the style is meant to hearken back to something intrinsic to all of man: resonance with the divine.

how much do you think it would cost?
You're looking at around £780 and above tbh

I mean to say that some people even associate the very idea of getting a self-portrait as being kinda narcy and a waste of money, but I don't this as true when you start to consider how most people have pictures of those they care about and are fine with taking selfies.

Besides, self-portraits really aren't even that expensive as one might initially assume now, and others around you might actually appreciate the ability to be reminded of you when you're gone anyway.

A statue would really be no more narcy than that, which is to say that it ultimately wouldn't be.

What do you think overall?
I think it's a good idea.

Choose whatever style you want.

If you're not comfortable getting nude, or even just mostly nude while covering your genitals, in front of a professional photographer then just stick to doing it yourself or get one to touch up your photos at least.

You can also always cover up your genitals in pic before you send them to edit.

If you can afford to get a statue then get it tbh, it'll look really good and last forever.

I think so as well as the face people gawk and look up to these statues as the pinnacles and deities of beauty.

would it be worth it if I were more average-looking with an average body?

Yes, all you really need to pull it off is a decent body and face, but mainly the former

You also seem to be confident enough in your body's current state anyway, so I think your mind ought to already have been made on the matter

Of course.

I think so as well as the face people gawk and look up to these statues as the pinnacles and deities of beauty.
That's what they're for tbh, representations of the pinnacle of beauty and divinity, as they're meant to inspire those that look at them to reach for something greater than they ever thought possible of themselves. Even if it won't be nearly as close to what they're looking at the point is to still try and this is meant to inspire them to do just that.

would it be worth it if I were more average-looking with an average body?
Probably not as nearly every depiction of the art form is represented via a well built physique and adequately attractive face [for the time anyway].

However, the physique depicted wasn't nearly as realistically achievable in the time it was depicted as it would be today.

This is not only due to the sheer amount of various resources available when it comes to an organized or methodical approach to fitness, but also more specifically due to a basic [yet effective] structured training regimen and specialized equipment dedicated to targeting specific muscle groups.

What this essentially means is that even if your current body is "average looking" you still have the resources available to improve it to the point of reaching what was once considered a godly physique in antiquity.

Wow, that's pricey but I'll look into it! Who could do it for me?
There are plenty of different services available online from people who'll do life sized statues, to bronze casting based on wax, 3d printing, handmade etc.

You could also look into working with local sculptors in your area tbh.

While not only reason for it, part of what makes art so beautiful is the essence of the artists themselves being reflected in their work.

no problem.

Working with people you know not only benefits you in the monetary sense but also helps alleviate some of the workload from your shoulders when accomplishing any task, and he might be able to introduce you to other skilled people he knows who could also help you as well.

good idea.

do you think it's worth it considering PSL and body? Should it be life-sized? Where could we hang it up assuming we have a family?
Both your PSL and body are adequate for both a statue or a painting in the style.

It's size can be as big as your budget is willing to go.

Either your main bedroom or a place like your study where other art and books are present.

@chaddyboi66 what poses do you think would suit me?
I'm also afraid of showing the sculpture to my parents..... I still live with them.
Any of the one seen shown in the examples I gave or depicted in other art of the same style, though you're free to pick and choose as you see fit here considering you have final say in the matter.

Go with what you feel most confident with and take a picture, then look at it from a few different angles to see if or how it suits you, and if you think it doesn't work then move onto another.

You could also try taking inspiration from modeling. Think Gandy or Chico's best pics that everyone is familiar with, or even try going for what most people wish they could emulate in those 'PSL gods' edits.

If you're afraid of anyone seeing them then just cover them, hide them in a space big enough to fit them, or even try renting out a place to store them if they're too large.

You could always even just try passing it off as being "random art" you bought and you don't have to specify how it's actually you, as they probably won't be able to tell unless they take a very close look at the face.

I believe she will appreciate it. But the real question is, why should you capture it? She'll witness you in your prime regardless. Thus, there's no need to worry about having already moved beyond your prime when you're married.

Why do you assume you'd end up gaining weight? Try to have a positive outlook. Besides, consider taking such pictures after you're married, not now. Presenting her with something like this before marriage might make her feel like you're overly focused on her.

Ourcompanions and other scholars said: making images of animate beings is extremely haraam and is a major sin, because severe warnings have been issued against it in the ahaadeeth. With regard to pictures of trees, camel saddles, and other pictures in which no animate beings appear, these are not haraam. This is the ruling on making images. (Sharh Muslim, 14/81).

Sa’eed ibn Abi’l-Hasan said: I was with Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) when a man came to him and said, O Abu ‘Abbaas, I am a man who lives by what his hands make, and I make these images. Ibn ‘Abbaas said: I will only tell you what I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say. I heard him say: “Whoever makes an image, Allaah will punish him until he breathes life into it, and he will never be able to do that.” The man became very upset and his face turned pale, so [Ibn ‘Abbaas] said to him, Woe to you!
