I’m honestly not that big of an otaku

I went to a manga convention last week and felt completely out of my element. I like anime (mostly shounens and a few slice of life shows) but the more hardcore side of it isn’t for me. I have zero interest in cosplaying, cutesy characters, etc. I also went to Akihabara and felt pretty underwhelmed.

The only aspect of Japanese culture that really excites me nowadays is the more NT side, e.g women, nightlife and fashion
