It takes some weeks to change your thinking pattern. I have depression and anxiety diagnosed and they want to call me autistic too.

In my anecdotal experience if meditate somewhat regularly and practise the attributional patterns, he explains in that video you'll be able to destroy like 80-90% of thoughts that fuel depression, there will of course still be suicide fuel from experiencing brutal blackpills, poverty and all the other shit that your mindstate won't change. But it can change how you let it affect you.

Also, while linear thinking is superior for mental health and most problem-solving tasks don't let go of the big picture.
