my understanding of beta blockers and muscle comes from a video from leo dedicated to powerlifters, he pretty much claims they're bad for performance but good for recovery and therefore recommends lifters to train in the morning when adrenergic signaling is at its highest and take propranolol by the end of the workout.
to conclude, ion see beta blockers as bad for gains but even if they were, the amount of money i'd save buying propranolol instead of magnesium + vitamin k2 like taeian suggests as a means of controlling blood pressure and cell death makes it way better in my view
