People are mewing incorrectly to fix their recessed chins; they need to apply force to the alveolar ridge to bring the maxilla up and chin forward:
See the recessed person? Their maxilla needs to be pushed up in the front in order to create a rotation of the maxilla. This leads to more a prominent chin.
My other shitty example is salludon. People think he got procedures (which is likely true), but i believe he got results from the "ARM" method. He mentioned how he thought he applied way to much force directly behind the teeth, making them point forwards a little. But what if his results came from pushing on this ridge? wHo KnOws...
Don't push forwards with tongue; push up at the alveolar ridge. This doesn't mean to leave the back of your tongue down either. Leave it up. Just focus your pressure onto the AlVeOlaR ridge. Another idea @retard came up with was incisor chewing, something not proven yet but could be legit in guiding maxilla up to create rotation.
