im on accutane and want to take beta carotene. i cannot take other vitamin a supplements while on accutane so is taking beta carotene gonna be a problem?

beta-carotine is basically provitamin a, meaning a PRECURSOR to Vitamin A. Can be turned by the body into Vitamin A by certain enzymes.

But since Beta-Carotine does NOT actually induce Melanin-production don't expect some actual tanning from it.

Also don't expect nearly the same anti-aging benefits as you would expect from topical retinoids like tretinoin.
