Is finasteride effective if you are balding young?

Does finasteride or duta actually work in people if they started balding at a young age. Surely this means your follicles are more sensitive to DHT thus the 60% reduction in scalp DHT maybe isn’t enough and follicles will continue to miniaturise. This is just speculation, but this is something that concerns me as a NW2.5cel at barely 21. I’m on finasteride but I am afraid I’ll still bald further.

Maybe...You could also try other treatments, procedures, etc. but some people are just destined to be bald.

Yeah ik but many people bald young and just don’t take fin so Ofc they end up bald.

Still brutal either way, better than my dad who was already pretty much bald at my age. My grandfather who never went bald genes are helping me somewhat I guess.

I think pyrilutamide will be promising. Hopefully I can hold onto my hair until infinite hair transplants or pyrilutamide just completely stops it.

If it really gets shit I will cope and buy a hair system, my skull isn’t good looking for bald (CT scan shows me without hair) tfw no warrior skull.

It could be worse.

Also I don’t mind if I’m destined to be bald at a decent age, I just want to have hair that’s good in my 20s at least…it looks absolutely fine atm despite my hairline.

Not necessarily true, many people will randomly go from a nw0 to nw2/2.5 in their early 20s then hop on minox/fin to prevent further loss and eventually get a hair transplant. It's exactly what Brett mavrick did and it's working well for him.

My brother in suffering I’m actively leanmaxxing, it’s just it doesn’t happen overnight I went from 240lbs to 180lbs currently.

Also nothing to ask about leanmaxxing it is calories in calories out, 3500 calories to a pound, eat in a deficit…

if you have no hair your dating life is over, dont sugarcoat it. having a good skull for baldness just means that strangers wont point at you in open street and laugh it you but for dating its over regardless.

taking fin is the right decision atm boyo, you can already add pyri if you want.
for now keep taking it and try to not think about it too much. just try to make the best of the time that god have given you on this planet
