Whether the gonion is inward or outward is determined by the masseter and medial pterygoid attachments and mandible growth pattern.
Your mandible continues to develop throughout puberty, and once growth is complete, the position and shape of your gonion are established. Post puberty, u can’t really change the bone itself. Training the masseter can increase your bigonial width, but it cant change the actual shape of the jawbone or its flare.
