I used to be heavy favor of lifting heavy weight, but gym is shit. We all know it's about face. Many characteritics of gym are unnatural and harm the body in the long term. Bone> muscles that is a proven fact. Energy and resources spent on repairing muscles instead of bone and collagen. In theory if you get enough rest,and nutritients it will balance out ,but will never happen in real life do to many reasons. Lifting counter intuitively to how the body naturally works will cause posture imbalances, uncecrssary stress. If you stretch extensively to make sure the muscles can do the movements while remaining very limber, sure maybe you can prevent most of the damage (but nobody does this or will do this). The added stress and poor skeletal posture also pulls on your scalp causing it to tighten resulting in premature balding and receding hairline over years.No, it isn't cope. It's necessary. BUT, you still need to have some muscle on you, because it's a big thing for women that the man is bigger and stronger than them, they love it. Light lifting with heavy stretching and more focus on bone health is the way to go. But let's be honest your not going to stretch for 2+ hours a day so just skip the gym

Of course, face is more important, but having a good body also helps to ascend heavily. Height and being physically bigger is huge in terms of relationships with women, it's natural for them to want that and thus people who do have height and a good body are more appealing. You can have someone with a good face but if they are 5'5 and have a crap body it will be a lot different from being 6'3 and shredded.
About the other physical reasons, I haven't read into that much so would have to do some research on it. But imo strenuous physical activity such as the gym is something i think is needed, humans evolved to do a lot physically, obviously I do think that it can be taken too far, and that's where issues come in to do with health. Getting enough rest and nutrients is an important part of going to the gym tho, so I think most people that take it seriously do look after that.

Modern weight lifting is too taxing on the body and isn't focused on bone health. You need to prioritize getting enough micronutrients to build strong bones instead of going to the gym 5 days a week.
