IQ is pretty set in stone. You cannot change fluid intelligence. It would be like saying I can take my Iphone and change the computing power. Now of course factors can decrease or increase in adolescences but I doubt you could change it after 18 in any significant way. What you can change is crystallized intelligence (or the amount of critical information you remember) this can improve your life a lot. But your ability to solve new patterns or puzzles is built in. If education really could make everyone geniuses don't you think IQ's around the world would have evened out by now? Think of IQ like height if you have a bad upbringing or are malnourished it will decrease your potential height. But for the most part height is still genetic if you eat the most perfect diet you will only reach your genetic limit you will never surpass it. Same thing with IQ and most people's IQ is fully formed by 16. You rarely see dramatic jumps in IQ after 16.

Well I think it’s because the human brain is known for its neuroplasticity. Or in other words, the ability to adapt and change.

Your genetics can limit your bone mass or center of gravity, thus affecting things like your top speed.

Intelligence, however, is something that is stored in the brain.

It may be genetic or it may not be at all.

I know this is very un-PC but that's why I love this forum. The current scientific literature shockingly shows the different races (race in the colloquial sense, although genetic distance is measurable) evolved VERY differently, as well as that human evolution is very much going on right now. It's been theorized that the increase in the IQ of Ashkenazi Jews came in the time period from 1600-1800.

• Sub-Saharan Africans didn't need IQ they needed low inib and what scientists call the "warrior gene" (Monoamine oxidase) which makes men more prideful and aggressive.
• East-Asians are scientifically the most well adapted to cold climates, where a bigger brain and higher IQ to use and make tools is a lot more important than low inib. (high inib helps u survive actually). Just look at their physical features - the mongoloid has shorter limbs, a flatter face, and more adipose tissue in their eye area to decrease the surface area to survive the cold. Wider faces were an adaptation to increase bite force to bite through frozen foods.
