that's right. I want to go on a 800 to a 1000 calorie deficit. People consider this safe. And it is especially for my weight. So what are they yappening about

they're prolly telling you to go on less of a deficit, like 300-500 cals

starving yourself and not eating anything or too much calorie deficit, going on a good diet doesnt stung your growth. I'd recommend getting a gym coach if you dont know what you're doing

you can do that for 4-6 weeks and slow down afterwards. Otherwise you're just fucking up your metabolism and depriving your body of proper nutrients

"BMI greater than 30 (obese) = 1000 - 1500 calorie deficit
BMI of 25 - 29 (overweight) = 700 - 1000 calorie deficit
BMI less than 25 (those that want to lose 5 - 10 lbs.) = 500 - 700 calorie deficit"
This cane from a doctor. He claimed fatter people had larger total energy exposure, so they could have higher deficits and still be fine

Fat people have almost the exact same energy expenditure as normal people. Fat is not metabolically active.

As a man, you should NEVER be below 1500 daily calories (unless you're on prep for a bodybuilding show or something). Exercise more if you want to create a bigger deficit, but go any lower for a long period of time and it will affect your Test and growth

THAT'S TOO SLOW

If you're too fat rushing it and being on a large calorie deficit can give you a lot of excess skin and when you put on actual muscle it hides it and the only option in surgery, being on a high protein diet and about 500-700 calorie deficit can get you looking good in about a year or two without stunting your growth.

Lmao im considered normal weight
