There are legit long term effects of meditation on your brain, go to google scholar and you'll find studies on it

Its the best thing you could do but what all of us are too lazy to do (including me).

yes it's legit but you need to do it while sungazing or staring at the full moon, don't do it inside
 
Yes, meditation increases pain tolerance, lowers cortisol, increases oxytocin and serotonin.

I know is proven effects.

I in my Buddhist period. Have dinner silent retreats for 1 week.
No talking for 5 days. And like 5-6 hours of meditation per day on a cushion.
Pretty brutals.

I've noticed the average looksmax user is a hyperventilating neurotic little mess
so yeah probably meditation would be good
 
i tried it but its such a pain in the ass with adhd

i cant concentrate even for 3 breaths before my mind thinks of smth
