Its literally giga important

I could argue that it is as important as clavicle length

My clavicles have a negativ tilt like the first guy

Can clavicle lengthening change the tilt?

Are maybe fat grafts an option?

There are some good results with filler but its not worth it since its not permanent

clavicle lengthening probably isnt worth it

but there has to be a way to just change the tilt with permanent filler or grafts

tilt makes such a huge difference

Not probably It DEFINITELY.your shoulders will be raped after it

Don't think so. I think it's because of the scapula. The scapula is to the male torso what the maxilla is to the face: the shape of the scapula is so extremely important. I think of the scapula like the maxilla and the clavicles like the jawbone, so I think the limit will always be the shape of the scapula.

For sure. The size of the rib cage and the broadness of the scapula are the length of the clavicles. There's this small protuberance in the scapula that determines whether you will have incelish sloped shoulder or chadly pussy-wetting Nick Bateman imposing broadness. The acrominon process is basically upper maxillary projection as in its length is key to getting square shoulders. The clavicles are a bridge between the head of the sternum to the back of the ribcage by scapula and acrominon process. The traps emerge from the length of the scapula, so longer scapula means better traps.

Bad

Good

In a metaphor you could say that the rib cage, scapula and clavicles are the face of the male chest. It's quite apt for anybody who knows that part of anatomy in aesthetics.

In what little good fortune there is for men's looksmaxxing, shoulders respond very well to anabolic steroids, and as a rare case in looks theory, muscles can make up for bones that don't respect women. If you look at before-and-afters of steroid use, sloped shoulders can be recast into something more aesthetic. So if you've got sloped shoulders and and inclination to that type of drug, go for it.

So a positively tilted collarbone is suboptimal ? Ideally, it should be as straight as possible ?

Mine is positively tilted, yet I'm broader than average with a large ribcage (I haven't measured my bidelt ; wearing on average XL-sized tops to accommodate my shoulders and 45' chest). Maybe it has to do with the scapula or delts' development.

Frame1

Frame2

These two pics were taken 20 years apart. In the second one, I haven't done any sort of physical exercise in 10+ years and been LDARing hard for 5 years. Interestingly, muscle mass retention seems quite high if you train young (like I did, between 18yo and 22yo) and are not low T.
Still mogged to oblivion by Kim Freire though.

Instead of gymcelling, wouldn't serious swimming practice during teenage years promote maximum shoulder growth ? All pro swimmers have imposing frames ; although there is obviously a selection bias when looking at pros (i.e. genetic framelets never made it far enough in competitions).

Btw here's an unknown French Chad in the PSL sphere : former pro swimmer Camille Lacourt (6'7" - 2 m tall) :

I have heard this one a lot

but it could be the same thing with basketball players

They are not tall because they play basketball

They play basketball because they are tall

Same thing could be applied for swimmers

Swimming with good clavicles is much easier than with bad ones

It could help tho when you r young idk

Still it doesnt really matter since my puberty is already over:feelsbadman:

Roids + gym is the only way rn

Not really it’s genetics, though if I am correct if you grow up obese or body weight for long enough it might alter the tilt to accommodate all the excess body fat and visceral fat

It's a postural problem. It has little to do with genetics. Op do you mind sending a picture of yourself from the side, front and back ? A picture of the clavicle only is not enough to assess. It would help to see you from the feet up to your upper sternum, maybe even neck from front side and back

Also it’s mostly genetics any research would agree with that

Yes it would, most people don't understand what good posture is and cannot define it for you. Even by looking at just the clavicles of the people in the picture I can clearly tell the postural problems that the guy with negatively tilted clavicles has

Oh I agree prolonged bad posture would definitely alter it but at the end it’s mostly genetics

How would research do that ? They would have to provide a correct model of posture in order to prove that the clavicle tilt is only attributed to genetics and not bad posture. But there isn't a single study that will define what good posture is for you, which you would agree is a necessary premise. You are welcome to prove me wrong

I would say it's 80% posture and 20% genetics. Genetics will determine how much a certain bone grows in volume. That's why for length of your collarbone and thus width of your frame genetics do play a bigger role (even then a lot of people attribute too much importance to it). But the tilt of your clavicles is measured by comparing it with fixed points, like your neck, ribcage or an imaginary horizontal line. What matters here is the relative position of the specific bone in relation with the rest of the body. That is very much related to your posture rather than your genetics. Your body is full of muscles and fascia that by being taut or slack can very heavily influence the relative position of bones. I personally cannot find an example of someone with exceptional posture that has a depressed collar bone

clavicle tilt is mostly genetics and skeletal structure. think posture, scapular retraction, and delt development can mitigate the visual. ur frame is strong enough that it's not really a primary failo. neutral is best imo but yours isn't dragging u down much.
