Is there any proof wolffs law or mechanical stimulation can thicken or lengthen bone long term

Im not referring to swelling or more density. Every study i see just talks about density

cortical bone = much less responsive
spongy bone = much more responsive
Also more vascularized areas are more responsive

yes its mostly made up of cortical bone which is why it wont work if you want to lengthen your legs

people often exaggerate to extreme extents though

at best, I would say you can gain 0.5-1 inches in height if you spend 1-2 years applying wolff's law and also assuming your diet, sleep, stress levels and everything is ideal

the reason why it seems like some people 'use' wolff's law and just magically grow 6 inches is because their genetics destined them to grow that tall anyway

if you don't wanna spend that much time its way simpler to height fraud via insoles and lifts

wolff's law works after growth plates close but as I said its extremely difficult

also the big exception is if you already did sports/activities involving wolff's law like jump roping and jumping for basketball/volleyball then you probably already reached your height potential indirectly so wolffs is ineffective for you now
