My diet is 30 % protein, 45% carbs, 25 % fat.

Are fruits like bananas and carbs like potatoes and white rice actually bad for you. I can’t eat meat only all day. How much am I missing out on?

I think I eat around a 150 grams of protein per day. But some do 200 grams.

if you go to the gym a lot, yes get carbs (not processed carbs) and make sure to eat some animal stuff as well of course
if you dont really go the gym like that then u dont rlly need carbs unless ur an athlete\

What about the bloating from carbs. This is my biggest concern. Haven’t noticed it but some days I feel bloated maybe it’s a placebo. Some say carbs bloat you a lot despite low sugar and salt

By fruits I meant I eat 3 bananas. Don’t eat a lot of fruit. It’s like 300 calories

I don’t vegetables. Never have. But why are they hated so much as well. And what about carbs.

I’m not a Manlet and I’m actually growing still I’m on hgh as well. Around 5’11-6’0 but I don’t weight a lot. I eat around 150-160 grams of protein while weighing 135 pounds

don't listen to paul saladino and live naturally by ur own intuition ur body will tell u what's good and what's not

but i can tell you now fruits are good for you. maybe not these supermarket sprayed vegs and fruits but carbs are just sugar (glucose, fructose, etc,.)

Nope please read some scientific literature or articles from credible sites on the benefits of fruits rather than a teenager on youtube . However, there are certain carbs to avoid white rice , pasta , supermarket bread but there are certainly healthy carb choices as well like sourdough and sweet potatoes. Its all about balance.

I mean tbf people can get lean very easily on carnivore only so makes sense why people hate carbs but long term idk it’s questionable

I don’t eat pasta but yeah I eat sweet potatoes and maybe Normal potatoes but why is white rice bad. I get my white rice from local Asian supermarket seems legit.

Yeah white rice is not "bad" , its just the alternative brown rice or quinoa is a lot more nutrient dense. If you prefer white rice no worries its about balance just don't over consume.

Carbs are essential if you don’t have them not only will they tank your free test and igf-1 they’ll also severely worsen your gym progress
 
You need sun to detox the deterium

Theyre full of pesticides (incl organic ones)

Fructose has to be cleared by the liver and is an annoying process for the body

Fruit juices will glycate the shit out of you

Contains anti nutrients (oxalates, phytic-acid, lectins, solanine and many more depending on which one) even something like tomato peels fucks with your immune system

Doesn't have any nutrients besides vit-c (which your body can recycle) and potassium which is in everything anyways


If you're gonna eat fruits then do so, but don't imagine yourself thinking it will be beneficial
Also you can do gym while being properly fat adapted, the ketosis triggers autophagy too leading to you suffering less damage from the gym

they are not inherently bad on their own, but the way they interact with a lot of metabolic systems and other nutrients is what can make them harmful. also they produce more AGEs during metabolism which, coincidentally, age you faster. when you consume carbs and fats, your body need to choose one to focus on burning and needs to buffer the usage of the other which causes lots of mitochondrial stress and over time damages them leading to less efficient ATP production which is (what we can infer based on the best current research) the main driver of decline in the process of replicating our DNA. this is obviously terrible for you. basically being in ketosis = healthier cells = better dna replication and better life span, also animal fat is extremely rich in vitamins a d e and k all essential for blood and bone health
