I say train them, because you should train every muscle you can, but why not just lose the fat?

You should, but not for the reasons you think. Having stronger abs will improve your posture, which is in itself a looksmax and will also likely give you a little bit of extra height.

Fuck yeah abs are very important. You can be skinny and have abs and foids will say that you still look ripped. Meanwhile you can have big biceps and no abs and they would think that you are just fat or something.

If you get strong at big compound lifts (deadlift, squat, ohp, weighted chin ups, etc) you can have good ab development and be stronger overall.

Focus on lowering your bf. It will help with losing facial bloat.

I made huge mistake by not training them for the first year of my lifting.

Im now catching up because a strong core is literally so key and it will improve almost 90% of all your lift PRs.

What exercises do you do to target them?
