Jaw/bite issue ( need help )

Here's my problem ( no pictures because i dont want my face on the forum, sorry ) :

When my jaw is relaxed, my upper and lower teeth's are at the same lvl, and my front and sides look normal ( I'm 100% shure that I'm not just unconsciously jutting )
When i have to bite with my molars however, i need to purposely push my lower jaw backward because only my front teeth's touch otherwise. It make my jaw look small.

Wondering whats my issue. Thanks to anyone helping me.

It sounds like Type III malocclusion

Thats what i thought too. Thank you for helping me again.
Im going to see a dentist to get that fixed
