either he keeps getting them dissolved and then refilled every 3-4months (which costs $1000s every time) and increases the risk of infection with every single procedure or he's lying

no need to dissolve them each 3-4 months

fillers last at least 12 months so a good deal would be to get them dissolved and refilled each 10-12 months

implants are not better tbh they end up looking uncanny most of the time , at least with fillers you add mass gradually and you have more control on the result

fillers over the long run are more expensive than an implant + you'll look like a bloat lord if you stop getting them dissovled

only case where i would go for an implant is if i had a super narrow mandible

i agree with you that fillers provide a superior result in the short-term, but I don't see them as a viable long-term solution. They puff you up, can leave lumps beneath your skin and are way more expensive in the long-run. go with a moderate size implant without choosing a retarded size and you should be fine
