Long and sharp imo. I mean flared just looks ridiculous even on the CT scan, imagine it on ur face. Also long would make ur side profile look better

Do you think it matters too much if I get a silicon jaw implant rather than a PEEK one? I would go to giant to design it.

Haven't found a surgeon that uses PEEK in my country.

Opie did the simulation himself, don’t think for a second that this is a surgeon’s design.

So yeah the first one looks ridiculous and would produce a horrible result, way too sharp.

This completely depends on your soft tissues, mainly your masseter muscle. There's no good way to say just based on a skull alone.

Who told you that ?

Masseter muscle is damn overated in implant, his average width is 1mm, in huge cases like brad pitt it may be 3mm max.

As for the shape, the shape of the masseter is the same as the ramus cause they grew together

Some surgerons got some stimulations software but it must be complete BS
