I think that the 'wide jaw law' meme is a meme originating from white supremacist spaces for the simple reason that the wide and prominent jaw is a prevalent Aryan trait, particularly among Nordic people, including the Baltics. The only places I see people discussing 'wide jaw' outside of looksmax.org are on white supremacist spaces where they advocate for prominent jaws as an Aryan trait, in addition to being a masculine feature. You might argue, 'but the jaw is important,' and yes, the jaw is important in the sense that it should harmonize with the rest of the face. However, as long as a person doesn't have a double chin or mandibular retrognathism resulting in a birdface, or mandibular prognathism leading to a horseface, having a small jaw isn't necessarily a flaw.
Regarding the JBW theory, I believe it's not entirely false in the sense that, yes, there is a fetishization of whiteness in SEA. However, outside of that region, whites, and even less so Nordics, don't monopolize beauty. Iberians, Southern Italians, Greeks, Albanians, Turks, Syrians, Lebanese, Persians, Moroccans, Algerians, Tunisians have a much greater market value than Northern Europeans or Europeans in general, whether among women in the MENA region or European women in general. I think the JBW theory is just cope from white supremacists who love Nazism and sperg out on tall, blond, blue-eyed people for some reason.
