I scheduled a meeting with a maxillofacial surgeon in early July.
When I sleep, I suffer from nocturia, sore throat, and night sweats. Apparently these are all symptoms of sleep apnea. In addition, I am very sure I have short face syndrome, but want to confirm with a maxfac.
My goal is to get a BIMAX; however, the desire stems 100% from aesthetics. I am more than able to live with the aforementioned sleep maladies. I had braces as a child so my bite is 100% perfect.
How should I behave during the consultation? Should I mention that my primary goal is aesthetics. Or should I downplay it, but be like of course it is a concern?
