I scheduled a meeting with a maxillofacial surgeon in early July.

When I sleep, I suffer from nocturia, sore throat, and night sweats. Apparently these are all symptoms of sleep apnea. In addition, I am very sure I have short face syndrome, but want to confirm with a maxfac.

My goal is to get a BIMAX; however, the desire stems 100% from aesthetics. I am more than able to live with the aforementioned sleep maladies. I had braces as a child so my bite is 100% perfect.

How should I behave during the consultation? Should I mention that my primary goal is aesthetics. Or should I downplay it, but be like of course it is a concern?

Ye, you should tell him that aesthetics comes first

Don't you have to do a sleep study to get diagnosed for sleep apnea?

most of maxillofacial surgeon are blackpilled and know the aesthetic goal of their patients.
furthermore you should ask as much advancement as possible.

the more you advance the more PSL you gain
