As per usual, osteotomies mog implants.
ZSO has a very good potential if you need lateral augmentation, but has a problem in terms of not giving anterior projection, which is what most people need as well.
I need more malar mass, so I would still consider ZSO, even more than implants, and even though people say it could end up more feminine (because of too much mass).
If somebody remembers, I asked if it's possible to combine anterior cheekbone implants with lateral cheekbone osteotomy, and it turned out to be possible but very rarely performed.
With that said, can you go with a 100% osteotomy approach - doing lefort 3 for anterior zygo area whilst doing ZSO for the lateral?
