i wear jeans 24/7 and go the beach like twice a year

too much time investment to train legs in the gym to only show them occasionally

but ass is very important to look good in jeans

No, its important af especially if you are natty, legs are the place you will show the most progress as a natty, upper body grows much slower cause of too many complex muscles. But i get what you mean, training legs is pain in the ass

i use my lower body enough in hobbies for them not to be small so i cba to train them in the gym aswell

at the end of the day, a girl will never compliment or grab ur legs. they grab ur ass

If one sacrifices training legs, he gets more progress in upper body obviously

squats- 2 sets of 3-5 reps followed by 2 sets of 8-10

romainian deadlifts- 3 sets of 8-10

They absolutely aren't, the 60's bodybuilders went mild on chest and arms and went hard on shoulders, oblique and lats. If you go down the arm and chest root then you might as well go with legs, chest is a meme, shoulders and lats is what changes your looks the most
