Life without religion is great

As someone who went from christian to agnostic, i can say 100% it was one of the best decisions for my mental health.
When I was a christian, i feel like I was restricted to doing things I love doing. the question of "Is this a sin" or "am i going to hell for doing this" weighed me down heavily. After sinning I felt like shit and I would constantly question whether if im good enough or if im not taking my faith serious enough. The constant fear of going to hell and about immortality really took a toll on me, I was scared of living practically. I finally ended up giving in and leaving a set religion. And living life without religion is great. I feel like the whole thought of religion is too complicated, people dedicate their whole lives to being one set religion when I believe their is more to life then that. Imagine being born just to dedicate your whole life to the person who created you. Sounds a bit overkill don't you think? I feel as if now religion is all about who sins the less even though sinning is a natural human element.
I still believe in a God though, or one atleast. I believe there are too many coincidences that have happened in our existence and too many unsolved questions about our existence

Add on- I also feel as if the idea of the closer human to God. ETC a priest is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. I do not believe a single human being is closer to God. I do not believe their should be ranks in the church. I do not believe a single human has more authority over another or religion rite.
The constant fear of morality?

Fear of hell has never concerned me, my primary #/trait is kindness and morality so I hardly worry about this although I didn't know that until age 18

Haha, no. I do (semi) fear the afterlife.
The question is. Is kindness enough to get you into paradise?

Sorry, i didnt see the mention in my alrets.

Firstly, i wanna start by saying that you dont go to hell by sinning, Christ bled and died on the cross to save you from hell, in the Bible (idk what verse) it says that your past, present and future sins are forgiven, so God already knows you sinned and forgave you. There is no unforgivable sin you can do, the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which you can't do anymore since you dont live when Christ lived. Then you might ask "then why do we pray“ well take it like this: if i hit someone but they forgive me i should still want to say sorry, right?. So by praying you want to ask God if he can do something for you and if it would be good for you he will grant the wish, or saying thanks, or saying sorry. As for questioning if you are good enough, Christ will always forgive you, dont worry.

Also you aren't dedicating your life to the person who created you, God created us, told us not to sin but we still went ahead and betrayed him, after all you cant even count how many times you sinned trouough your life but yet Christ still loves you.

PLEASE READ THIS ITS IMPORTANT AND ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS ON “hell” and “2 Thessalonians” OR AT LEAST READ THE BOLD

Essentially the term “eternal destruction” (Greek: olethros aiōnios) does not necessarily imply annihilation. Instead, it signifies a state of being eternally outside the presence of God’s love and glory, which is the natural consequence of rejecting communion with Him.

This “punishment” is not an arbitrary act of vengeance by God. Rather, it is the result of the individual’s free will to reject God’s love and life. God respects human freedom so much that He allows those who choose separation from Him to experience the absence of His glory as “destruction.”

Saint John Chrysostom

On “Eternal Destruction”:

Saint John Chrysostom emphasizes that the phrase (2 Thessalonians 1:9) does not refer to annihilation but a conscious and eternal state of separation from God’s glory.

“The punishment is not an act of vengeance, but a condition brought about by their own unwillingness to partake of God’s life and grace.”

Saint Gregory of Nyssa

The Nature of Hell:

Saint Gregory describes hell not as a physical place but as a state of the soul that refuses to align with God’s will. For him, the “eternal exile” mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 1:9 reflects a soul’s inability to perceive God’s love as anything but torment.

*“God remains light to those who love Him, but for those who hate Him, He becomes fire.”

But yes, I do believe religion is a cope for many people. A cope that there is a meaning to life, cope that they are special in any way. And most importantly, coping with the fact of inevitable death. I do not believe the existence of religion is necessarily bad though. I do believe religion ahs helped a lot of people, but it has done the opposite for many.

LOL @PrinceLuenLeoncur being a we wuz Kangz N Sheit member. Did he ever provide any evidence to support his beliefs about the race of Jesus? I provided basically a small novel here https://looksmax.org/threads/these-...hey-can-enter-the-1-000-year-kingdom.1038992/ This inlcudes a vast majority of bible references on this matter, DNA, archeological discoveries, historical references outside the bible, cultural, countries flags, language, biblical prophecies and gifts, logic and reason, etc.

His only real response was the OP is retarded. I put down those responses in my OP's as posts from sub 70 IQ people. Things like COPE, 0, DNR, you're retarded, etc are all from sub 70 IQ people unless they're making the response in a sarcastic manner.

The main arguments of the fake black Israelites is Deut and the curses qhich I have easily eviserated, I have destroyed all their biblical passages they take out of context like the Revelation scripture on the appearance of Jesus, Lamentations 4:8 description of the Nazarenes, songs of Solomon description of Solomon and his partner at the time, etc. Their history starts in the 1800s when a random black dude came up qith the theory that they're the Israelites. Then in the 60's they started creating different groups that have different beliefs. Noq some of the groups include all the non Caucasians except the Asians/Indians to be Israelites. It's hysterical at best and pure evil at worst. You have to be a bible butcherer to make it sound as though blacks are the Israelites. Overall, it makes no logical sense either because blacks never invented the wheel or their own written language before the whites colonized them. They lived like savages for a vast majority of their existence before colonization and to this day the non colonized untouched villages still live like savages. This may sound harsh but it's completely factual. As is the fact that the black Africans on average have a 70 IQ. Lastly, they had no poqerfull nations or civiliazations qith kings and queens as God propheseid. A vast majority of Kings and Queens come from Europeans. They had tribes for the most part.

The fact is, they have no history so they must steal ours. They live in our nations as a minority so they'll always have an inferiority complex. The Edomites intentionally brought the African Slaves here to eventually collapse this nation from the inside out.

But it made mine better..? are you stupid
So does sex, temporarily it makes you feel amazing. In the end your soul is base reality as it's your eternal body and this body is only temporary as is this physical world. I too had my life improve temporarily by leaving my faith. The problem is most people are in religions like Catholicism that's not true Christianity so they don't even get to hear the truth.

This is why after my life started to unravel as an atheist and no amount of sex, success, money ever fulfilled me it just left me more thirsty and I found that through Christ I would never go thirsty again.

I've been an catholic for the first 18 years of my life then a strict atheist doing everything I could to disprove Christians and fulfill my every desire for 10 years. Then I became agnostic for a couple years, a Buddhist for 1 year then back to Christianity but non denominational for the last 8 years. I've found the more I've committed to GOD while working towards a better eternal life, the more my prayers have been answered and the better my physical life has become.

One could go the opposite direction and completely sell your soul to the devil (don't even have to believe in him or GOD). This contract can give you any fleshly desire you have and provide instant gratification. The question is for what is it to gain the whole world but lose your soul (eternal salvation)? Is it worth it to have temporary fame, fortune, sex, pleasures, resources, power, anything your heart desires just to lose your salvation and be permanently cut away from the divine creator. I'm not saying that's your goal but most people believe a good life is all these temporary gratification things and resources as equating to a great life so y not sell out for all these things if it requires no religion or faith? If you no longer truly believe then you may as qell sell your soul you don't believe exists to live your best life possible during this short term existence called life.

Do you know who the mods are? I've never asked directly to have any of my posts pinned but I wouldn't mind it if they at least pinned one of them. They might be kangz themselves so they may have a bias against this topic.

Do you think it would be beneficial to have a thread just for debunking the Kangz arguments? say eviscerating their top 10 arguments for the Israelites being black? Not to mock or make fun of them but to cut down their illogical and overall erroneous arguments.

I am a catholic christian, I have learned christianity from a young age by myself, my family is atheist yet I read the bible went to church and had catechesis for over 8 years, what about you, how did you learned about christianity?
I have been reasarching the religion for the last 7 months now, learning the philosophy of the councils philosophy and metaphysics to explain and make sense of the trinity to defend the doctrine from heretics, pagans and Muslims I also learnt philosophy to debate atheists and show them that their belief system is Illogical inheritally.

If your a 8yr long RC then you should know the faith enough by now. My advice is to not be a stupid Protestant and believe your interpretation is correct all the time, look up what your churches stance is on issues and never feel shame to ask your priest.

I personally also read the works of the saints such as Gregory of Nyssa, John Damascus, John Chrystostm and many others. I watch prominent Eastern Orthodox debaters such as Jay dyer who debates every worldview from Islam to atheism from Roman Catholicism to Protestantism, he has done it all and as a philosopher he gives the best in depth responses on his Chanel, I promise if you watched him you’d convert to Eastern Orthodoxy.

I also read papers from our theologians and philosophers such as Dr Buea Branson. I also read the bible, admittedly not as often as I should but I do read it but I use a study bible for I am a human and my interpretation is liable to be wrong so I always want to know what the view of our church fathers and saints thought about the topic.

Anyways VIVA Christo Rey

This guy (Jay Dyer) is GOATED at this.

This is copy pasted
on the existence of God. Dyer argues that only the Christian God, as described in Orthodox theology, provides a coherent basis for these transcendentals. Here’s how he presents the key points:

1. Preconditions of Intelligibility:

• For any knowledge or reasoning to be possible, certain preconditions must be met, such as the existence of logic, objective morality, and the uniformity of nature (laws of science).

• Dyer argues that atheism or materialism cannot provide a coherent foundation for these preconditions because:

• Logic: Abstract, universal, and invariant principles (e.g., laws of logic) cannot arise from a purely materialistic universe.

• Morality: Objective moral truths cannot be grounded in subjective or cultural preferences.

• Science: The consistent laws of nature require an explanation beyond random chance.

2. Internal Critique of Atheism:

• Dyer often challenges atheists by asking them to justify the use of logic, morality, or science within their worldview. He points out that:

• Atheism often assumes the validity of logic without explaining its origin.

• A purely naturalistic worldview cannot account for the immaterial, universal, and unchanging nature of logical laws.

• He argues that without the Christian God, atheists are left with a worldview that is ultimately self-contradictory or leads to skepticism.

3. Christian God as the Necessary Precondition:

• Dyer asserts that the Christian God provides the necessary foundation for intelligibility because:

• Logic: Logic reflects the rational nature of God, who is immutable, universal, and eternal.

• Morality: Objective moral values flow from God’s unchanging character.

• Science: The uniformity of nature is grounded in God’s providential order.

4. Exclusivity of the Christian God:

• While TAG can be used to argue for a “god” in general, Dyer emphasizes the uniqueness of the Christian God as revealed in Orthodox theology:

• Other worldviews, including other theistic religions, fail to provide a coherent basis for the transcendental categories.

• For example, in Dyer’s view, non-Christian monotheisms lack a doctrine of the Trinity, which he sees as essential

Thanks ill look into it rn

Ok first off who tf are you? Most irrelevant user ever :lul:

Secondly I never ONCE SAId Jesus was “black” never insinuated this never stated this NOR DO I THINK THIS. Don’t put words in my mouth you irrelevant insect. JESUS WAS PALESTINIAN JEW WHICH WOULD HAD LOOKED LIKE YOUR TYPICAL ARAB (yes he was a Jew but pheno wise he’d look like an “Arab”)

You are not Christian you are a son of your father THE DEVIL

@Underdog9494 @org3cel.RR

If you want any knowledge of Christianity im the one to ask this is literally form knowledge at this point EVEN THE Muslims know this :lul: @Gengar @SecularIslamist @yeeyeeslayer @shia.jihadist you see this is why I want you Muslims to invade the west, these white people are traitors to the highest degree and deserve nothing but to be under sharia law

@PsychoH @Thebuffdon690 i know you 2 are different but the rest of your kind have issues and are “Cooked” as seen in this thread they’d rather listen to @King Solomon the gnostic conspiracy theorist nut job than the most knowledgeable evangelist who debates people irl on religious matters on this site. This is what we have to deal with
It’s joever, he called you princess guy. :hnghn:

As someone who went from christian to agnostic, i can say 100% it was one of the best decisions for my mental health.
When I was a christian, i feel like I was restricted to doing things I love doing. the question of "Is this a sin" or "am i going to hell for doing this" weighed me down heavily.
Because you didn't understand Christianity. The point is Jesus died for our sins so we can do whatever the fuck we want and still get into heaven.
After sinning I felt like shit and I would constantly question whether if im good enough or if im not taking my faith serious enough.
Even if Christianity is real (It's not), Morality would still be an arbitrary set of rules that "God" made up, and in the case of Christianity that you don't even have to follow.
Religionmaxing such as pastor maxing can get you a hot wife, lots of friends and community things to be involved in.
Imagine being born just to dedicate your whole life to the person who created you. Sounds a bit overkill don't you think? I feel as if now religion is all about who sins the less even though sinning is a natural human element.
I still believe in a God though,
There's no god.
or one atleast. I believe there are too many coincidences that have happened in our existence and too many unsolved questions about our existence
If you look harder for answer, you'll probably find them.
Add on- I also feel as if the idea of the closer human to God. ETC a priest is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. I do not believe a single human being is closer to God. I do not believe their should be ranks in the church. I do not believe a single human has more authority over another or religion rite.
