Just going to post all of my progress in here from now on instead of making new threads for each event.

about me:
26yo. 5'9" software engineer. hobbies include plants, rock climbing, body building, music (making and listening). have a gf, so this self improvement train is mainly just for my own personal satisfaction.

was really excited for this. just called a place in atlanta on a whim and scheduled one for rwo days later. Cost 5k, they said they did 1800 grafts but prob shorted me. and it looked like shit in the end, low density. but it was enough i could pull off shorter hair styles and hide the thinness with root cover spray.

jan 2026: pre jaw surgery

heres how i ended up looking pre jaw surgery. total "chud" as u fellas say. gym maxed a good bit, u can see me next to my family here. face was cooked though. censored fams face for their anonymity and cuz im the ugliest one censored a company hat i was wearing so u weird fucks dont harass em. u can see the face still looks that same as first pic, not a lot of change.

This is a photo of me healed from my first big surgery (still using root cover to hide the thinning front). DJS with 7ish mm downward and forward movement. 4.5mm infra/malar implants. (20k total expense for this round)

april 2026: 2nd major surgeries

had a rhino, buccal fat removal, co2 laser, and hair transplant 2 weeks ago. Rhino isnt completely unswollen so results arent full yet. hair transplant was way better this time, 3100 grafts. no root cover in this photo. its gunna grow out nice. like 11k cost for this trip i think

plan for future:

1. start lifting again
   1. havent dieted or trained or did anything starting 2026
   2. will post maybe monthly or so updates on this thread
   3. i have the genetics to push size if i really want to, but I think i might shift gears and just train to look good instead
   4. starting lifting again saturday (3 weeks post rhino, 2.5weeks post hair transplant; should be good i think)
2. skincare
   1. current routine: niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, sunscreen. frequent tret and biweekly microneedling, but these are on pause to recover from co2 laser
   2. adding accutane soon (should be here next week)
3. grow hair out now that i can
4. kybella under chin
   1. got some coming in the mail so why not
5. next big step: orthodontics (SARPE)
   1. meeting with an ortho tomorrow
   2. ive decided the next big thing i need is sarpe.
   3. i have a narrow palate (6 tooth smile)
   4. mid face needs additional support
   5. airway still isnt perfect
   6. cant start this til a year post djs, so this will likely be my happening for the entire 2027
6. second big step: big surgery
   1. my mid face is probably gunna still need implants after expansion. either full maxilla or paranasals (leaning towards full max obv cuz its cool, havent seen any results though)
   2. genio. my chin is has lateral asymmetry. could center it. its also upturned, could downturn it a bit. if theres some way to fix it with just implants then id do that instead, but im not too optimistic here. we'll see when the time comes.
   3. lip lift. ive heard theres a drop down effect from expansion that might give me more tooth show. if not im gunna get a lip lift to show the teeth better
   4. possible face lift. we'll see how we're looking
   5. if i have to let the teeth settle for a long time after palate expansion then I may have to wait to do this in 2028.

thats all for me I think. I'd look how I want to look after that. not trying to touch the eye area, and i dont really want crazy jaw angles, I like the cheek bone dominant look and wouldnt want jaw prominence to take away from that.

i had google gemini create an image of my end game based on that last photo from our recap, as if i had palate expansion, genio, and full maxilla implants. obv it totally chadified me and i wont get close to this, but this is the vision

big drop in weight today. 175 flat. so im down about 20lbs since the hospital. 25-30 to hit my target weight

nah. i looked in to it but found a ton of conflicting info. then id go to get a device and people would say hey this device doesnt work u need this device. then on that device people would be saying the same shit for some other device. so i just gave up on that. i'm hopefully gunna be getting a face lift and fat grafting soon. that'll definitely de-age me. just wondering what else i wanna do. got a consult soon

Just had my consult. So the plan is to take 2 months off my cancer drugs when i get a chance. thatll give me long enough to heal up from implants and fat grafting and a minor face lift. we looked at my ct scan, my chin bone was nearly symmetrical enough that we could fix it with a tiny implant and soft tissue repositioning. probably gunna have the implant designed to puff up the labiomental crease i think. gunna do fat grafting. i might get huge midface mask style implant. that looks like the direction we're going in

also been advised to get a steroid shot in the nose to go ahead and speed up the healing

Just did my first lift since brain surgery. an easy back and bis day. was pathetic, but ive just been sitting around doing nothing. hopefully this will help me get some structure and routine back.

ya it was a dumbass move. just imported a ton of it and was doing whatever u wanted. i dont even have acne though; im just doing it for sebaceous skin texture. so i do 20-60 mgs ever 4 or so days now. i got compliments on my skin today (from my mom ) so i think its finally making a difference

Wow . Also, what do you say to your friends and family when they notice the changes on your face? Do you just straight up tell them that you had surgery ? And what reason do you say you had the surgeries for to them?

I told all my friends at work about the surgery way ahead of time, i was excited about it. No one really said anything after. I posted my before and afters on my instagram, so any of my college buddies i hanged out with after had already seen the new face so it wasnt a big shock. havent really ran into anyone else that was taken by surprise from it. not really worried about it anyway; im really happy with it. kinda feels like talking about a new car or something

kinda gay i think im having to pause my surgical planning for a while. my oncologist is completely screwing me, wont let me take any time off ever. its risky when the tumors hit 3cm cuz they start to spread. mine went from 2.8cm down to 2.2cm since starting the meds 2 months ago. so i said once im at 1cm i got enough breathing i should be able to take 2 months off. dudes acting like ill die. im getting in with a better team at the end of the year that specialize in this disease and hopefully theyll gimme a break

spent all week in the hospital. having mild complications from the brain surgery, had a spinal tap yesterday, going under anesthesia for another surgery tomorrow. kinda moggin tho
