That's an idiotic statement. Tren should be either used when cutting to preserve muscle mass or to recomp eating close to maintenance. For mass gaining there are better compounds (btw I am not saying you couldn't bulk very successfully with Tren but it's side effect profile doesn't warrant using it for that purpose)dont go deficit on tren, u should hard bulk
