if i'm still at my peak in puberty would it be optimal to enter a 800 calorie deficit? or should i go for eating optimally with a shit ton of exercise to lose weight

do you even think before you type out some bullshit like that, you need to be in a deficit to loose weight, doesnt matter if you do sports or stay at home and do nothing.

Up to you bud. Me personally, I like to do 2-3 hours of walking per day. And I listen to an audiobook while doing.

You could even get a walking board. If you don't want to go outside

Honestly, I don't really track calories when I do it. I just do it because I live quite a sedentary life.

But you can get a heart rate monitor. I think that can estimate your walking calories reasonably accurately.

Alternatively, if you wanna get your cardio done faster (but higher intensity) you can jump rope. That burns a shit ton of calories.

Eat around 1500-1800 kcal a day and get atleast 10k steps a day (Changed everything for me)
