CELLULAR MECHANISM:

- When bones are subjected to stress, the pressure causes micro deformation, resulting in fluid flow in the canaliculi where the osteocytes exist. The osteocytes then release chemical signals triggering osteoblasts, INITIATING BONE FORMATION.

- By altering the synthesis of various signaling molecules, osteocytes orchestrate bone remodeling in response to mechanical stimuli at ANY age.

- Heres what most people DONT know about: applying STATIC PREDICTABLE force actually IMPAIRS bone formation, while dynamic pressure of less/equal pressure enhances bone formation on both endosteal and periosteal surfaces.

- Massage guns apply around 0.4-0.6MPa's of force, research studies found that bone responds with the most growth to 0.8-1.1MPa's of force, much different than a hammer.
A typical massage gun with a little bit of force on your end would reach that threshold.

MASSAGE GUN SMASHING PROTOCOL:

ZYGOMATIC REGION: Ideally when you're smashing regardless of the tool, you don't want the swelling to completely die down. Once every day or every other day would work depending on how long it takes to recover.

SUBMENTAL/CHIN REGION: Once every day until it swells, again, you can use the swelling as an indicator but you don't want to go too harsh on the bone regardless, use your instinct

Whenever you're smashing, make sure to cover the area with a CLOTH or any object of that sort so u dont end up retarded. Good luck

Investing at 1 rep
also why cover with a cloth so i dont end up retarded how would that help? not let skin break or asymmetricalness?

Less CTE + skin irritation, make sure to use a bullet head attachment as well, vibrations reach deep into the bone so you dont need direct skin to gun contact

What head/attachment should you use

thank you mirin, and how do you make sure you dont make the bonesmash asymmetrical?
