Not really, bad MFR is usually a symptom of an actual flaw - that's about it. IPD and any feature in the midface has influence on the midface ratio.

Sean O Pry for example has 1.1 midface in some pictures, but his skull index is Meso and his face doesn't look visibly "squished".

DiCaprio is a Euryprosopic which is what actually gives his skull that "squished" look.
