I have had the same problem my whole life so I just stopped washing my hair with anything except water and adding a peptide hair serun once a day. And now its so perfect that I can just towel dry it with no styling and it looks perfect with natural textrure and not flat. It took a few months for it to look rly good though.

All I do is when I get out of the shower, pat the hair dry a bit with a towel, and when it’s still damp, slick it back with a wide tooth comb and wait for it to dry. For my hair if I dry it forward it’s a lot drier, but since slicking hair back, it’s well moisturised.

Although if your hairline is shit, then this isn’t an option.

update : turns out that everything is cope just bathe with water and dry it fully with tshirt literally got called wow your hair looks soo good teheeee by foids today so yes just have good hair genetics bro theory is true

problem is barbers are too low iq yes it looks better when u grow sides but when it overgrows and u try to get them shorter you get botched harder then turk LL doctor patient enjoy looking like subhuman until it grows again so its better to get buzz on sides

I suffer from this too JFL , what I realized is best, wet ur hair, comb it, dry it with towel 80%, comb it again, then put a cap on till it fully dries, after that u can remove cap and just run ur fingers through ur hair

Use a t shirt to dry not a towel , apply hair oil before blow drying .dont shampoo unless it's necessary, hair mask once a week.
