This is unusual because I've never seen anybody else have the same problem before. So, from 6-7 months my eyelashes have grown nicely (both upper&lower)but along with positives,I have also been facing an unusual problem.
Few hair from my upper as well as power lashes always fall off(almost everyday).
I don't know why exactly but it happens automatically and sometimes even while bathing, when I wash my face,it detaches.
It falls off so easily, even when I touch it slightly.
When I wake up from sleep,I notice few hair under the eyes and I instantly recognise that it's from my eyelashes.
I think it happens when I sleep on my stomach but this is so frustrating because my eyelashes are the best feature about my eye area. So,I cannot afford to lose it every single day :feelsrope::feelsrope:because without them my eye area is nothing.
Whenever I see a new hair falling off,I feel like going back in time and figuring out shit that lead to a problem like this:feelsrope:
This been happening with me for quite a long time now and I don't have any idea how to fix this problem particularly.
Have you experienced something like this before? If yes, what did you do to get rid of it?
Tagging @Gaygymmaxx and @imontheloose because both are pretty good at finding solutions related to eyelashes/eyebrows

It’s normal to lose a few eyelashes a day.

If it’s a lot tho, it could be from some skincare products.
Also a lot of people touch their eyes/pull on their lashes a lot, so try to avoid that.

Hmm,I touch the area under my eyes a lot and sometimes when my fingers are too close to my eyelashes,it gets removed in no time after I make contact

Then that’s probably your problem.

The touching can turn into a thing you do all the time, so avoid it.

Try to focus on not touching your eyes for a day and see if you notice anymore lashes dropping.

yeah that sounds like chronic lash shedding could be from mechanical irritation (rubbing eyes, harsh cleanser), nutritional deficiency, or mild blepharitis. first thing, make sure you’re not using anything that dries or inflames the lid margin (like alcohol-based cleansers or retinoids too close to the eye). clean your lash line with diluted baby shampoo or hypochlorous acid spray daily, that helps a ton if inflammation’s behind it.

for regrowth, bimatoprost (Latisse 0.03%) is by far the most effective, it’s literally an FDA-approved prostaglandin analog that extends the anagen (growth) phase. apply it carefully with a fine brush at night, don’t overuse or it’ll cause darkening of skin around the eyes.

you can also add castor oil or a peptide lash serum (GHK-Cu or myristoyl pentapeptide-17 type stuff) if you want something milder, but they won’t match bimatoprost in potency.

also check your nutrition. Biotin, zinc, iron, and vitamin D deficiencies can all cause lash loss. if it’s been 6-7 months straight, maybe get thyroid labs done too, since hypothyroidism sometimes causes brittle or thinning eyelashes.
