Moderate acne treatment

Went to the derm and got adapalene & a benzyol peroxid cleanser (?) (lubexyl). I have moderate acne, so adapalene makes perfectly sense to me but I don't understand why I should use benzyol peroxid if I don't have oily skin. Am I risking getting a dry skin if I use both once a day?

i use both and yes its drying but just use a moisturiser and see how it goes. benzyl peroxide is really good at what it does so i wouldn't drop it tbh

only like 4 days in but seeing very fast results in terms of reduced inflammation

WHen do you use the benzyol peroxid? Before applying differin in the evening or in the morning?
