1. Looks = First Impression = Its over (for Some of Us)
looks play a huge role in hiring. If you’re a Chadlite or even a high HTN, people automatically assume you’re competent before you even say a word. Meanwhile, for MTNs and LTNs, the first impression hurdle is massive. You might have the qualifications and skills, but if you don’t fit the "vibe", you’re filtered before you even get a chance to prove yourself.
2. Neurotypical Buff = (The System Favors the Socially Adept)
The job market isn’t just rigged for looks; it’s optimized for neurotypicals. HTNs, Chadlites, and Chads are usually better at faking it, and projecting confidence, "things employers want". But for MTNs and LTNs who struggle with social cues or anxiety? It’s like playing a game where the rules keep changing, and you’re the only thast clueless...
3. Confidence > Competence = (Confidence isnt real)
innerlight often trumps actual skill... Employers are more likely to hire someone who seems capable than someone who is capable but struggles to project that “winning” energy lol. Chadlites and HTNs can fake it effortlessly with their innerlight lmao. MTNs? Maybe, if they work hard enough they can reach htn. LTNs? Its over rope...
4. Rejections Pile Up = (for the Usual Reasons)
once the voices start they dont stop...
5. I’m Coping
Even though the system feels unfair, I’m trying to adapt:
- Improving Presentation: if ur mtn you can try and improve your looks
- Stacking Skills: Building a portfolio and getting certifications that make my work harder to ignore, even for biased hiring managers.
- Social Game Practice: Watching interviews, practicing body language, and faking confidence, sort of like a psychopath....
- Acceptance: if ur not neurotipical is over unless ur htn or above...
sorry for the random thread i was just arguing with a friend abt this and now i feel depressed... and my friend thinks im chitzo
