So this thread is exactly for this! Lets all share our crazy gym experiences!
I'll start!
But to make it interesting i will do a veryyyy long one!
I walked into the gym
I had been watching motivational videos for three hours before coming.
Today was different.
Today I was going to become the man EVERY WOMAN WILL WANT!
I wore my tightest compression shirt, even though I had nothing to compress. (It was baggy)
I walked past the treadmill section and immediately saw her.
Blonde. Nike pros. Drinking water.
She was doing hip thrusts.
I knew she was doing them for attention.
I walked past her three times to establish dominance.
On the fourth walk by I made eye contact.
She looked away.
She was nervous.
I walked over.
“Hey.”
“Hi?”
“Do you need a spot?”
She looked at the empty barbell.
“I’m not lifting right now.”
I nodded.
“Right."
She's Testing my confidence.
She put her headphones back in.
I walked away.
No problem.
Phase one complete.
The Bench Press Incident
I loaded 20 kg on each side.
The bar was already heavy, but I knew she was somewhere behind me.
I lay down.
Started pressing.
One rep.
Two reps.
Three reps.
I heard someone walking nearby.
I immediately added another 20 kg plate.
This was a mistake.
I unracked the bar.
It descended toward my chest at the speed of a collapsing building.
I tried to push it up.
Nothing.
I tried again.
Nothing.
My arms were shaking.
I could see her in the mirror.
She was talking to her friend.
Probably about me.
I shouted:
“SPOT!”
A massive guy came over.
“Bro, you good?”
“Yeah, I got it.”
“Do you?”
“YES.”
He lifted the bar off me.
I sat up.
My face was red.
He looked at the plates.
“That’s a lot of weight for you.”
I wiped sweat off my forehead.
“I’m cutting.”
He nodded.
“Okay.”
Then he walked away.
I looked toward her.
She hadn’t even noticed.
The Dumbbell Disaster
I decided to do curls.
Nothing impresses women like arms.
I picked up the 20 kg dumbbells.
Started curling.
My biceps were about to tear.
I looked toward the mirror.
She was standing near the cable machine.
I increased my speed.
Then my right arm gave out.
The dumbbell slipped.
It landed on the floor with a sound that shook the building.
BANG
Everyone turned.
The girl looked over.
I smiled.
“Grip training.”
She nodded awkwardly.
“Okay.”
I could feel my reputation growing.
The Final Encounter
I was leaving the gym when I saw her at the water fountain.
This was my chance.
I walked over.
“Good workout?”
She looked at me.
“Yeah.”
I leaned against the wall.
“You know, most guys here are just trying to impress girls.”
She nodded.
“Okay.”
“But me? I’m different.”
She looked confused.
“I don’t know you.”
I laughed.
“Exactly.”
She put her bottle away.
“I’m going to go.”
I stepped aside.
“Sure.”
She walked out.
I watched her leave.
Then I noticed the gym manager standing behind me.
“Sir, you dropped a dumbbell and nearly crushed yourself on the bench.”
I nodded.
“It’s called progressive overload.”
He stared at me.
“Please don’t come back tomorrow.”
I walked out, devastated...
TL;DR: trucel neet goes to the gym to impress a girl, nearly gets crushed by a bench press, drops a dumbbell, tries to flirt, gets ignored, and gets banned from the gym.
