It’s my third day of college, the school had a big event where people were playing games, dancing, music, etcetera. I talked to a few people I recognized and that was it. There were girls and other random people standing around I could have talked to but I get so in my head 
JFL at one point I stepped away and started looking up on Reddit “how to talk to people at parties.” I joined in one game some people were playing and fucked it up, the guy had to explain the rules like 3 times. I looked like a total retard. After that I just fucked off and watched people do karaoke and now I’m back in my dorm. It’s gonna take a while to get rid of the abused dog syndrome and social awkwardness. I do fine talking to people one on one or in small groups but in situations like this I absolutely fail.
