My hair transplant went bad. Any alternatives?

Hi mates! Im 37 yo. A year ago i decided to go to Turkey to have a hair transplant, cos I got diffuse thinning, and every year was getting worse and couldnt hide that with toppik.
I had a 2000fu transplant. Now 14 months later I see the result is rally bad. I think due the shock of the surgery my surrounding native hair that was weak fell forever.

This is before the transplant:

I've decided two options:
-Go to a TOP Doctor , that whould cost me a lot of money, but if the result was bad it would be so hard.
-Accept the bald look maximizing it.

I've tried the buzzed look in the past, and depending in the pics I look like a AIDS patient and other look OK.

Some friends have recommended me to rock the viking look with the epic beard like this:

But I think this only looks good with blonde/brown beard. Mine is very black and Id look super CREEPY:

What you think should I do? Thanks for your feedback!

Just get another 2000 grafts in same area, carry on using concealers.

Buzzed head and beard is the only viable option that won't cost you top dollar.

Get your ears pinned back. Buzz cut and beard is the way for you to go boyo. Forget about having hair as it clearly doesn’t want to stick around so it’s pointless fighting it at this point. Train your neck as it’s quite skinny, gymmaxx and I guarantee you will be a whole lot happier knowing you’re not going to be wasting time and money trying to keep hair that is going to keep falling out no matter what.

You should consider SMP and see if you can get away with keeping your hair grown out with the increased visual thickness. If not try SMP + buzzcut, you actually look pretty decent with the shaved head, and at 37 it's not a big failo like it is for guys in their teens and 20s. Failing that, just shave it all off to the skin and have SMP.

I don't think you should rule out a 2nd transplant in Turkey though to be honest if you have enough donor hair left and can afford it. You may have got unlucky the first time, next time you need to do more research to ensure a reputable clinic/surgeon does the procedure and not just go for price/convenience. Even the better clinics in Turkey only cost a few grand.

I never paid attention to my ears, but now that you point it I agree, what ruins my buzzed look is my monkey ears.

I have a keen eye for ears because one of mine stuck out more than the other. I had otoplasty done last month and everything flows better when the ears are pulled in a bit. The buzzed look is definitely for you though

You don’t need to go to a “top surgeon”, you just need to do some research before jumping into surgery.

You need to find a surgeon who specialises in hair transplants and only does hair transplants - not a wanker who does them on the side between nose jobs and tummy tucks.

I went to Dr CINIK in Istanbul. I paid €3000 euros. Then got scalp micropigmentation. This cost me €600 also in Istanbul (1 year later). I was NW 3.5 before.

You’re also going to get a significantly better result if you start taking finasteride

it’s been about a year of work but now I think I probably have better hair than any guy I know.
